Our Story

More Than Just a Holiday Apartment

We wanted Casa Calma to feel different from a typical rental. Every detail, from the interior design to the outdoor living space, was carefully chosen to create a sense of calm, warmth and ease. A place for slow mornings, sunny afternoons and relaxed evenings, whether you’re staying for a few days or a little longer.

Located in Southern Spain, within walking distance of the Mediterranean Sea and just a short drive from Estepona and Marbella, Casa Calma offers the best of both worlds: peaceful surroundings combined with easy access to beaches, restaurants, golf courses and charming towns.

The People Behind Casa Calma

We’re Yosy and Sven, friends since primary school, co-founders of a marketing agency, and proud owners of this little corner of Spanish sunshine. With a shared love for Spain and an eye for thoughtful design, we dreamed of creating a calm place where guests instantly feel at home. We designed Casa Calma around that feeling. Earthy tones to ground you. Natural light to embrace you. Funky (Spanish) touches to make you smile. And a soft, calm energy that flows through every room. It’s no
coincidence we named it Calma. Because that’s what we hope you’ll find here: a calm mind, a slower rhythm, and a home that feels like a gentle exhale. We hope you’ll enjoy this beautiful part of Spain just as much as we do.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay in this wonderful apartment. From the moment we walked in, we felt right at home. The decor is warm, inviting, and meticulously maintained. The guest manual was incredibly helpful and full of great tips that were truly invaluable. Yosy was also a wonderful host. The little extras in the apartment also stood out: the water filter, the high-quality, comfortable furniture, the adjustable pillows, and the wonderful mattresses. We slept wonderfully. The location is perfect for us: nice and quiet, yet you can walk to the beach and promenade in about 20 minutes, and the center of Estepona is a 10-minute drive away. Renting a car is definitely recommended if you want to explore the surrounding area.
We left feeling completely recharged and a little in love with this apartment and the tranquility we experienced here. Without a doubt, one of the nicest Airbnbs we've ever stayed in. We will definitely be back. Highly recommended!

I stayed at Casa Calma with my husband and we had such a lovely, relaxing time. From the moment we arrived, the apartment felt warm and welcoming. Everything is beautifully decorated, very clean, and clearly thought through with great care. What we especially appreciated were the little comforts that really make a stay special: the comfortable beds, the calm atmosphere, and the lovely bathtub, which was perfect to relax after a day out. The apartment feels peaceful and spacious, yet very cosy at the same time. The location suited us perfectly. It’s quiet and relaxing, but still close to everything. We really enjoyed walking to the boulevard, where there are wonderful restaurants, and we loved having the option to drive into Estepona within minutes. Renting a car made exploring the area very easy. We are very fond of this place and area. A truly special apartment that we would happily return to and for sure recommend to others.
