Cancellation policy

We understand that plans can change. To ensure clarity and fairness for both guests and hosts, the cancellation policy below applies to all bookings at Casa Calma.

Standard cancellation
• Free cancellation up to 30 days before arrival.
• Cancellations made 29–7 days before arrival: 50% refund of the total booking amount.
• Cancellations made less than 7 days before arrival: no refund.

Rebooking option
If you need to cancel within 29 days of arrival, we offer a one-time rebooking option instead of a refund. This allows you to: move your stay to a new date within 12 months, subject to availability, and retain the value of your booking. You will pay or receive the difference if the new dates have a different rate. Rebooking requests must be made within 29 days before the original arrival date.

No-shows and early departures
In case of a no-show or an early departure, the booking is non-refundable.

Why we apply this policy
Casa Calma is a thoughtfully designed private home, not a hotel. Once dates are reserved, they are taken off the market, often well in advance, which limits our ability to rebook the property on short notice. This policy helps us:
• Protect reserved dates from last-minute cancellations
• Maintain the quality and care of the apartment
• Offer reasonable flexibility through rebooking when possible

We believe this approach is fair, transparent and respectful to both our guests and the space itself.

Travel insurance
We recommend taking out travel insurance to cover unexpected changes to your plans, such as flight disruptions, illness or other unforeseen circumstances.
